Indeed. And it isn't really a w100, because it isn't 4wd. But still, 750 bucks for a running truck that I drove 2 hours home in? Np.

Badass. It's getting really hard to find a longbed, simple pickup for cheap these days. The 318 isn't a bad motor if you know how to deal with it, and you can always hot-swap a 360 (or 340) into it if you're looking for more power.

Nahh, I'm hoping to salvage the stock leaky 318...can't spend too much on a car I plan to flip. Unless I decide to keep it, in that case I'd love to put a 5.7 or 6.4 in it. Burn off some tires

I was shocked at how clean it is...it only has 140k, interior looks like a 5 year old truck, and the primer actually looks somewhat decent

In that case, you should be able to junkyard a 1988 EFI setup for the truck. Lose the carb and get a good bit of power add too, for quite cheap. 30hp/20tq just from EFI

from my experience the 318 will last forever and will gladly take whatever abuse you can throw at it.It's a shame mopars are so expensive to build and the 318 never got a maf based injection setup.

This one is pretty beat all to hell and it still runs fairly strong...so far anyway. :)

Sweet! I had an 1989 d250 that I loved. What's the rest of the specs? The ad is taken down now.
Also, I believe they switched from flat tappet to hydraulic roller cams in 1988 along with adding TBI, which may have added an additional bit of power. My TBI unit was more reliable than people give them credit for. I think they are mostly stone-reliable until somebody hacks the wiring up. That stupid thing would start in -20F cold like it was nothing. Just be careful with that 904. Keep the fluid clean, bands adjusted, and consider an additional transmission cooler.

It's an 87 D100 with the 318, has a pretty new Holley 2barrel on it (dunno if I'm gonna keep that, but it is newish, so) tranny was rebuilt at the beginning of the year and it does shift very smooth, really I just need to go through the brakes and the engine, because both have many faults, although not enough to keep it from running and driving. In particular the brakes only seem to work on the right front wheel, as such it tried to kill me many times on the way home. :)
